Dr. Amanda Dee
Dr. Dee graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2008. Upon graduation, she co-owned practices in Chicagoland and Wisconsin, as well as worked in a multi-doctor 8 Weeks to Wellness Clinic in Georgia. She opened Healing Hands Chiropractic in Murfreesboro in 2015.
Dr. Dee initially got involved in chiropractic because her parents placed in her in gymnastics at the age of three, and they quickly learned how chiropractic could help her both in gymnastics and in wellness.
Her sports background as a former gymnast and Division 1 Collegiate Spring Board Diver at the University of Northern Iowa inspired her to study chiropractic so she could help herself heal, while making herself bigger, faster, and stronger.
She now takes that passion and infuses it into her practice at Healing Hands Chiropractic. She knows that her knowledge of chiropractic has a powerful influence on athletes’ performances, ability to recover, and competitive advantage.
Dr. Dee spends her free time lifting weights, hiking, spending time with friends, teaching in the community, and spending time doing anything involving water.
She is also active in her church community, Christian Life Church, located in Murfreesboro, TN.
It is her strong desire to leave a legacy impacting thousands of families to live healthier, happier versions of themselves.
You are in great hands with Healing Hands Chiropractic! We look forward to seeing you.
Joni Waddell is our Office Manager. But, in reality she is Superwoman. We affectionately call her Momma Joni because she keeps our kiddos and patients feeling warm and fuzzy with either stickers, animal crackers, or a warm hug. But don’t let her catch you cheating on your homework or not doing your exercises. Just like a Momma she will crack the whip when necessary, but always does it with an infectious laugh and smile.
It’s hard to not feel welcomed when Momma Joni is around. She is also the most amazing baby whisperer when parents come in with their kids and the baby might be fussing, or is in that clinging stage, she is like a ninja at getting these sweet younger patients to feel safe and snuggled, I don’t know how she does it!
Momma Joni is the heart of the practice and she does more jobs than you can shake a stick at. Her biggest request of our practice members is always communication.
If you need anything, simply ask! She will go out of her way to help you if you have a question, a concern, need to change an appointment, a billing question, or just need an ear to understand you.
Momma Joni is married to Joe her husband. All of their kids have left the nest, so she is currently grandma to a Shizhu named Bear and a kitten named Bandit that is his best friend.
Fun story…. Ask Momma Joni how she met Dr. Dee originally. It goes to show you the power of God’s plan ????
